Joy Elmore

Joy Elmore is the Administrative Support and Event Planning Assistant in the Office for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. She is responsible for administrative support for the office, several committees, grant activities, and special events. A native of Southwest Virginia, she graduated from the University of Virginia’s College at Wise with a degree in Communication Studies. After college, she continued her education with a master’s degree in Public Relations from the University of Georgia. Joy joined the Office for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in 2018.
